The digital axis control VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM002 is a programmable numerical control (NC) from Bosch Rexroth. It is suited to closed-loop controlled axis applications. It can be used for control of hydraulic drives and offers possibility of controlling electrical drives. It is designed for use in adverse operating environments. The VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM002 control complies with EC directives. Typical applications for the NC control include rail-bound vehicles, presses, transfer lines and machine tools. The NC control can be programmed via PC based software. Name of the programming software is WIN-PED. The software is not part of the NC supply scope. Rather operators either can order it as a separate item or can download it from the Bosch website. Operators can use the software to create application-specific data sets. These data sets are sent to the VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM002 over a serial communication link.
The NC control features a RS-232 serial interface that supports data rates of up to 9.6 kilobaud. This serial interface can be used for communication with a computer or other serial-enabled devices. The WIN-PED software runs on a computer with the Windows operating system. Both Windows 9x and windows NT are supported. The computer processor should be Intel 80286 or a more powerful processor. Minimum RAM on the computer should be 8 Megabytes. The minimum amount of hard disk space on the computer should be 10 Megabytes. The power supply voltage range for the VT-HNC100-1-1X/133/DGM002 is 18 to 30 Volts DC. The recommended operating temperature range is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Unused NC controls require -20 to 70 degrees Celsius temperature. Only trained and experienced technical personnel should handle the NC control and associated equipment and accessories.
