The VT 1516-S-11 is a card holder from Rexroth to hold the VT 3000 series of amplifier cards from the manufacturer. The card holder is capable of rendering a stable platform for the easy installation of a single amplifier card. It comes equipped with a power supply. The amplifier card is used to control proportional valves with a pilot valve. The card features a 10V differential amplifier input to provide an interface for microprocessors, programmable controllers, or computers. It also supports a pulse-width modulated output that minimizes hysteresis with a dithering effect.
The amplifier card has four internal contact relays that offer to switch for all the four input signals through a relay circuit without using external components. The card also comprises a change-over relay that is capable of switching polarity. It must be connected or disconnected only after the power supply is turned off. The terminals with “ac” suffix come with the internal connection already established and cannot be used for making any other connection. The amplifier card must not be used within a distance of 1m from radio transmitters and similar devices. The wires of the solenoid must not operate in proximity to the amplifier card. The card has 20mA minimum output bias current. The accessory is fitted with four LEDs on its faceplate for fast referencing of the input relays visually. The amplifier card features two ramp time choices of one second and five seconds. The inbuilt voltage stabilizer offers a constant voltage supply that helps to ensure performance consistency and stability.
