Product Description
The VT 2000 S2X-E is an electrical amplifier card designed by Rexroth Indramat according to the internationally accepted quality standards, this amplifier is designed specifically to control and direct the operation of pressure control valves without an electrical position feedback mechanism. This industrial amplifier features two input interfaces through which it receives the command value voltage it requires for operation. For the first input interface (input 1), the command value voltage can be sent in through two major mechanisms; directly or through an external command value potentiometer using the regulated 9-volt voltage from the power supply unit. However, the second input interface (input 2) is a differential input which is used when the command value is received from an external device with another reference potential. It is important to pass the electrical voltage coming into this amplifier through a potentiometer to limit the maximum command value.
The VT 2000 S2X-E industrial amplifier also features a ramp generator which generates a ramp-shaped output signal and from a stepped input signal, the output of this ramp generator becomes the internal input current, it corresponds to the command value voltage and is sent into the measuring socket at the front of the amplifier card. The VT 2000 S2X-E industrial amplifier card also features a fuse which protects it from sudden electrical surges.
The input operating voltage used with the VT 2000 S2X-E electrical amplifier card falls between 24 to about 40 volts, while the current consumed by the amplifier is about 1 ampere. The amplifier does not feature any housing unit since it requires integration into a control panel before operation. The maximum operating height for this amplifier card is about 1000 meters above sea level.
