Product Description
The VT 2000-S-4X-R5 is an electrical amplifier card produced by the reputable Rexroth Indramat according to American and European quality standards. This electrical amplifier is used for controlling direct and pilot-operated pressure control valves without electrical position feedback, it also operates to provide short circuit protection for solenoid cables and reverse polarity protection for voltage supply. This electrical amplifier card operates in combination with the VT-NE30 compact power supply unit, it contains two connection interfaces through which it receives the command value voltage it requires for operation. The VT 2000-S-4X-R5 electrical amplifier card also operates as a downstream ramp generator by generating ramp shaped output signal from a stepped input signal. The time constant for the generation of these signals can be adjusted through the use of two potentiometers as described in the documentation of the amplifier.
The VT 2000-S-4X-R5 industrial amplifier operates with an input voltage that falls within the range of 24 to about 40 volts and an input current that is less than 1 ampere. This industrial amplifier card is 160 millimetres long and about 100 millimetres wide. However, the front panel of this industrial electrical amplifier is 160 millimetres tall with a thickness of about 5 millimetres.
The VT 2000-S-4X-R5 industrial electrical amplifier is designed to be operated at an ambient temperature that does not exceed 50 degrees Celsius, the operation of this amplifier above this temperature can lead to a significant reduction in the efficiency of the industrial controller. In the case of an unexpected machine operation, special troubleshooting activities clearly defined in the documentation of the amplifier should be strictly followed. Also, only engineers familiar with Rexroth Indramat machines should be allowed to handle this amplifier.
