Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is acknowledged globally as a state-of-the-art designer of engineering solutions, including pneumatics, hydraulic systems, and linear motion and assembly technologies. The company is the creator of the VT 2000 series of amplifier cards used in controlling direct and pilot-operated proportional pressure control valves without electrical position feedback.
The VT 2000 S 48 is an electrical amplifier card designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a voltage stabilizer to ensure a constant, uniform voltage and a ramp generator to control the rate of change in pressure. This model is built as a 32-pin plug-in Eurocard of 100mm width and 160mm height according to DIN 41 494. Hence, it can be installed in a Euro magazine or card holder. It weighs 0.15kg and is operated with a power supply voltage of 24V with a ±10% tolerance. The cladding material of its board is sturdy, allowing it to anchor components securely for flawless signal transfer. Its minimum output (Bias) current is 100mA, while its maximum output current is 800mA.
Like others in the series, the pulse width modulated output of the VT 2000 S 48 provides a dither effect to reduce hysteresis. As a result, it can be operated within a high ambient temperature range. This is important because it improves the climatic tolerance of the component and increases its overall operational reliability. The power consumption rating of the amplifier is 30W, while its minimum output load is about 500 Ohms. Its up and down ramp times are separately adjustable, giving a greater level of control. This model of electrical amplifier cards should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 50oC.
