Product Description
The VT 2000 S 43 is a VT 2000 series electronic amplifier. It is designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The digital amplifier is designed for applications that require control of proportional pressure control valves. In addition to capabilities for valve control, the VT 2000 S 43 supports a differential input, clocked current output, reverse polarity protection for the voltage supply, a ramp generator and short-circuit protection for the solenoid cable. Before amplifier commissioning, operators must ensure that the jumpers on the printed circuit board are set according to the relevant application. The VT 2000 S 43 must only be installed when it is disconnected from the power supply. Failure to follow this precaution can lead to amplifier malfunction. Only instruments with high input impedance, ideally greater than 100 kiloohms, can be used for making amplifier measurements.
Relays with gold-plated contacts should be used for passing on command values. The distance between the VT 2000 S 43 and any aerial lines, radar equipment and radio sources must be at least 1 meter. The solenoid cable should be sufficiently separated from the power cables and signal cables. The solenoid cables must be shielded. Operators should contact Bosch for solenoid cables longer than 50 meters. The VT 2000 S 43 amplifier requires 24 Volts DC operating voltage. The power consumption of the unit never exceeds 25 VA. The current consumption of the unit never exceeds 1 Amp. If the VT 2000 S 43 is not operable, the sequence of troubleshooting steps can include the following: checking the operating voltage, checking the fuse on the card, checking the solenoid connection and checking the internal potentiometer.
