Product Description
The Bosch VT 2000 S 41 is an electronic amplifier card designed for control of proportional pressure relief valves. Amplifier features include pulse width modulated output, voltage stabilizer, ramp generator, integrated potentiometer, 100/200 Hertz oscillator and differential amplifier. The VT 2000 S 41 requires 24 Volts DC nominal supply. The permitted input voltage tolerance is ±10%. Power consumption of the amplifier is approximately 30 Watts. The recommended ambient temperature range is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). Weight of the amplifier card is approximately 0.15 kilograms. The card converts an input voltage signal into output current to power a proportional solenoid. Depending on the amount of solenoid current, the force on the pilot poppet of the valve is varied thereby increasing or decreasing pressure.
The input voltage from the power supply on the 18ac and 24ac pins power the VT 2000 S 41. The card accepts a differential input through pins 28ac and 30ac. The ramp generator distributes a stepped input signal into a slowly increasing output signal over an adjustable period of time. The output signal of the ramp generator is passed to the current regulator and added to the value of the potentiometer. The output signal of the power amplifier travels through the output stage and supplies a current from 100 to 800 milliamps to the proportional solenoid. To prevent damage, operators must turn off the VT 2000 S 41 before connecting or disconnecting it. Any measurements made on the VT 2000 S 41 should be made with a meter that has high input impedance. Radio transmitters or similar devices should not be present within 1 meter of the VT 2000 S 41.
