Product Description
The VT 2000 S 40 is an electrical amplifier in Euro card format. It belongs to the VT 2000 series from Bosch Rexroth. Amplifier features include differential input, short-circuit protection for solenoid cable, clocked current output stage, additional command value input and ramp generator. The amplifier is suited to control of direct and pilot operated proportional pressure control valves that do not support position feedback. The VT 2000 S 40 requires a card holder without a power supply unit. The amplifier comes with a compact power supply unit that converts AC input to DC output. The nominal input voltage for the VT 2000 S 40 is 24 Volts DC. If the card does not work, the following troubleshooting steps should be followed: check the input DC supply, check the fuse on the card, check the internal operating voltage, check the internal command value potentiometer and check the external potentiometer.
Further troubleshooting steps include checking of the differential input, checking of the solenoid connection, and ensuring that the internal command value potentiometer is not turned to the left-hand limit stop. The upper DC input limit is 35 Volts DC and the lower limit is 22 Volts DC. Current draw of the VT 2000 S 40 is less than 1 Amps and the power requirement is less than 25 VA. The safety fuse on the VT 2000 S 40 is rated for 2.5 Amps. The adjustment range for the ramp time is 30 milliseconds to 1 second or 5 seconds. Working temperature for the VT 2000 S 40 is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Storage temperature for the VT 2000 S 40 is -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
