Product Description
The VT 2000-52-A is an amplifier card in the VT-2000 Series. Bosch Indramat Rexroth is the designer and manufacturer of the product. It powers a proportional solenoid by converting input voltage signal uniformly into an output current. Depending on the current level to the solenoid, the force of the valve's pilot poppet varies. This brings about an increase or decrease in pressure. The proportional amplifier card is powered by the input voltage from the power supply on 18ac & 24ac pins. It is also fed through a regulator for filtering, suppressing, smoothing the voltage and dividing its 18 V output over pins 16ac & 10ac. Pin 14ac has a reference potential measured 0.
From pin 10ac & pin 14ac, a user can manipulate the +9 volts, externally using a dry circuit relays, simple potentiometer, and reed switches, etc. At pin 12ac, it can be used as a command input signal to the amplifier. The VT 2000-52-A also accepts a differential analog input using pins 30ac & 28c. The comparison of the differential signal is made in the differential amplifier. After this, the different voltage is generated. It is a must for pin 28c to have a potential of 0-10 volt with regards to pin 30ac.
The signal to pin 28c and 30ac must be broken or made at the same time. After connecting the outputs and inputs, you can set the bias current lowest pressure using the potentiometer' R1'. You can also set the uppermost current 'highest pressure setting' using the potentiometer 'R2' to control the pressure. It is crucial to note that you must first adjust the bias current on R1 trim pot, and then you can adjust the R2 using the faceplate, with R2 trim pot.
