The VSP40.1BIE-512NN-C1C-AN-NN-FW operator terminal manufactured by Bosch Rexroth comes with an integrated fan in its housing. This terminal has a 15-inch display screen and 16 machine function keys. The front panel of this product has a size of 407 x 370mm (W x H). The device installation must be done such that the LED displays on its front panel are visible. The unit should be placed as far away as possible from noise sources. The paper strip behind the front panel must be removed before the terminal is mounted so that the panel’s IP 65 protection rating is not affected.

The terminal insertion into its cutout should be done from the front followed by the M4 mounting bolts insertion into the drilled holes. The product should be secured in place inside the cutout by tightening the nuts on the rear of the mounting bolts. The keypad of the device requires theUS or an English keyboard driver for it to be used. The function and operating keys are located at the bottom. The terminal can be connected to an Ethernet network through an XLAN Ethernet interface. Its video adapter that is integrated into the BIOS must be turned OFF before fitting a graphics card.

The monitor of the operator terminal may get destroyed due to incorrect color and resolution settings. The screen of the product requires cleaning once a week with a cleansing agent that has alcohol or an antistatic fabric. Its fan must also be checked once a year. The cable connections of its hard disk should be checked for tightness. This device has to be placed such that its display is on a protecting mat so that it does not get scratched when an extension card is inserted. The unit is not equipped with any special interface.
