The VSB40.3D1G-1G0NN-C2D-DE-NN-FW is a highly functional industrial computer that is installed in the machine's control cabinet and serves the role of an independent operator terminal. This model is equipped with a CMOS battery that has a life of at least five years. The hard disc installed in this system has a service life of 3000 hours/year. For fast paced data processing, this industrial PC has also been made compatible with a solid state drive that can be installed in place of the conventional mechanical hard drive. The solid state drive has a life of at least 8760 hours/year. To maintain an optimum working temperature, this model is equipped with an inbuilt blower fan that serves for up to 60,000 hours in areas where the ambient temperature is around 40 ᵒC.
The VSB40.3D1G-1G0NN-C2D-DE-NN-FW has been designed to operate with the VDP display units produced by the company. Because of an 80 meter cable provide with this device, it is possible that this operator terminal remains installed in the control cabinet while the display unit is installed directly inside the machine's door. This device has been provided with keyboard and mouse interfaces. In addition, it also has a standard serial interface (RS232). There are two Ethernet ports for supporting RJ45 connections. A DVD burner can be optionally installed on this device. A standard 80 GB hard disc has been built into the system which can be replaced with a solid state drive for faster operations. The device also supports connection with the VGA monitor because of a 15 pin VGA port. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
