The VPP16.1DBA-1G0NN-M1C-BN-NN-FW operator terminal is used for a variety of machine control applications. This device is a PC-based operator terminal that can be used to control machinery. The level of control depends upon the machine configuration and the intended applications. The front panel contains a chemically resistant polyester foil whose keys are embossed. The outer edges of the enclosure have been beveled so that users are not injured by sharp edges. The operator terminal has a high quality display with backlighting that when used in ambient temperatures of 25 ᵒC, can last for up to 40,000 hours. The CMOS battery used in this system has been designed to serve for up to 4000 charging cycles when used at room temperature and for up to 2000 charging cycles when used for 35 ᵒC.
The VPP16.1DBA-1G0NN-M1C-BN-NN-FW is built with high mechanical strength that enables it to function in diverse external conditions. The recommended frequency range for using this operator terminal is between 10 Hz to 57 Hz. Between this range, the device can sustain 1 g acceleration and an excursion of 0.075 mm. During storage or transport, the device can resist a shock of up to 15 g. This model’s maximum power requirement is 200 W. The operator panel can be used with both a DC connection (24 Volts) and an AC connection (85/264 VAC). Two types of PC boxes can be used with this model. The Type-A PC box comes with two PCI slots and the Type-C PC box comes with three PCI slots. A PROFIBUS DP slave interface is also provided for variants with PROFIBUS DP slave.
