Product Description
The VMA 70 CR 001-D is a Bosch VM series power supply module for Servodyn-D systems. It is a standard variant module without a digital interface. A RMC/VM backplane module is needed for use with the supply module. The VMA 70 CR 001-D is an air cooled module which is designed for optimal operation at temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius. Above 45 degrees Celsius the output power of the module reduces at a rate of 1.3 Watts per K. Use of the VMA 70 CR 001-D module at ambient temperatures that are above 55 degrees Celsius is not permitted. At 45 degrees Celsius, the rated current and power output of the VMA 70 CR 001-D are 68 Amps and 47 kVA respectively. The power output of the supply module can go up to a peak value of 70 kVA.
Every VM module needs power from at 24 Volts DC supply. The VMA 70 CR 001-D draws approximately 2.7 Amps from the DC power supply. The amount of power dissipated as heat by an operating VMA 70 CR 001-D supply module inside the cabinet is 800 Watts. The module supports sinusoidal energy recovery: the recovered energy is fed back in the AC mains. The nominal input voltage rating is 400 Volts AC at 50 Hertz and the supply module can be connected to 400 to 460 Volts AC rated mains power supply. Mechanical dimensions of the supply module include 14.3 kilograms weight and 150 millimeters width. To ensure reliable power module operation and to prevent equipment damage and injury to personnel, the supply module should be installed by qualified, trained and experienced technical personnel. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
