The VMA 21 KB 001-D is a 23 Amps rated power supply module for Bosch Servodyn-D systems. The Servodyn-D inverter system has a modular structure and comprises supply and axis modules as well as different functions and various interfaces. Stand-alone Servodyn-D systems are suitable for small power requirements, and modular systems can be used for larger power requirements. Advantages of using Servodyn-D systems are a module design, optimized mechanics for power output, direct power supply connection, automatic commissioning through electronic rating plates and position control in three phase modules. The VM series of power supply modules are available with internal or external ballast switches. The modules can be air cooled or water cooled. The available output current ratings range from 20 to 180 Amps. The VMA 21 KB 001-D does not require a backplane module.

The VMA 21 KB 001-D can be connected to AC supply at 380 to 415 Volts AC. It features an internal ballast switch which provides peak braking power of 400 Watts and peak braking energy of 6500 Watts. The rated and peak power output of the VMA 21 KB 001-D module are 16 kVA and 20 kVA respectively. The rated output values for the supply module are valid for ambient temperature of up to 45 degrees Celsius. The output of the VMA 21 KB 001-D falls below rated values for temperatures lying between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. The VMA 21 KB 001-D is an air cooled device. Therefore suitable clearances should be provided around the operating device for smooth air flow. A digital interface and additional functions are not available on this standard variant power supply module. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
