The Bosch VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN is a Rexroth VDP series computer-based operator panel. It is intended for use with VPB 40.1 series industrial computers. The VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN includes a 15-inch touch screen with 16 machine function keys. The G4 interface on the display is used to interface with a VPB 40.1 series industrial computer. A VBP 40.1 computer can connect to an industrial display such as the VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN over 30 meters of cable. This enables installation of the VPB computer inside the control cabinet and the display in the cabinet door or near the machine. The VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN panel can be connected to Rexroth VAK series keyboards. LED status indicators are provided on the front of the display to provide indications for the hard disk, UPS, voltage and temperature.  The panel includes four USB ports on the side and one on the front.

The panel also supports a CDI interface for IPS connection. Touch enabled display on the VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN is based on TFT technology. The resolution supported by the display is 1024 x 768. The number of colors which are supported by the display are 256,000. Size of the display is 15 inches. The VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN requires 24 Volts DC input and consumes 35 Watts of electrical power. Housing of the panel is IP 65 rated. Weight and dimensions of the VDP40.2DFN-G4-PS-NN are 5.8 kilograms and 370 x 407 x 46 millimeters. The low depth enables easy panel installation. The display is supplied in a light gray color. Ambient temperature around the operating display should be kept between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius. When not in use, the display can be stored in an area where it will be protected from dust, moisture, and high temperatures.This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
