The Bosch Rexroth VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN is an IndraControl VDP 40 series operator panel with a 15 inch touch screen. Technology for the operator panel display is TFT which supports 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and 256,000 colors. The VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN is designed for use with a VAK series industrial keyboard. LED indicators are provided on the operator panel for voltage, hard disk activity, temperature and UPS. Integrated communication interfaces on the VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN include four standard USB interfaces, one standard USB interface on the front side and one CDI interface for IPC connection to a display. Electrical power specifications for the panel include nominal input at 24 Volts DC, input voltage range of 19 to 30 Volts DC and total power consumption of 35 Watts. The front of the panel has IP 65 protection rating.
The VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN operator panel is available in light grey color (RAL 7035). Shipping weight of the industrial operator panel is approximately 5.8 kilograms. Dimensions of the operator panel are: 370 millimeters height, 408 millimeters width and 46 millimeters depth. The VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN is certified by CSA, UL and CE. The VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN is designed to be used with the IndraWorks automation platform which can be customized to specific customer requirements. User interface on the IndraWorks platform is based on Windows 2000 / XP. The system also supports embedded terminals based on Windows CE with limited functionality. Together with the HMI software the VDP40.2DEN-G5-NN-NN can be used for industrial applications involving wood working machinery, handling and mounting systems, textile machinery, transfer machinery and paper processing machinery. For optimal and reliable operation, the temperature of air surrounding the terminal should be kept between 5 and 45 degree Celsius.
