The VDP40.2DEN-G4-NN-NN is a new-generation display panel designed by Rexroth Indramat to provide the industrial controller full control over the operation of the servo system. This display panel is perfect for industrial production systems as it possesses a user-friendly user interface and a durable housing unit that can withstand mild industrial disturbances. The screen of the display panel can display images with a resolution of about 1024 x 768. The housing unit of the VDP40.2DEN-G4-NN-NN control unit features numerous interfaces through which various components of the servo system connect to the device, interfaces connected to the display unit include a 1 x Front USB interface, 4 x USB serial interface, and the CDI interface.
The VDP40.2DEN-G4-NN-NN display panel also features a keyboard with pressure-sensitive keys through which the operator can send digital information into the servo system. The display panel is tested and certified to meets the CE/UL/CSA international standards, it can effectively operate for more than four years without requiring maintenance operation. The heat generated by the display panel is regulated by natural convention; thus operators should ensure the control unit is installed in a position that allows for efficient air ventilation. The display panel weighs about 5.8 kilograms.
The VDP40.2DEN-G4-NN-NN display panel is designed to operate with a rated current of 40 Amperes, and voltage that falls between 19 to 30 volts. The display panel is integrated with a hard disk which holds digital information sent in by the operator. Only Operators that have gone through the documentation of the controller should be allowed to operate the control unit. The display panel can be connected to a backup battery which provides backup power when the regular power source fails or voltage drops to an unacceptable level.
