Product Description
The VCP02.2DRN-003-SR-NN-PW operator terminal made by Bosch Rexroth enables a user to control and operated a machine by installing and visualizing the required information to be operated in the main control machine. During the installation of the VCP 02, maintain a minimum of 30 mm (1.181") allowance around the terminals to allow for sufficient airflow. It is possible to connect the VCP 02 interface either as a passive or an active current loop. Each transmission and receiving line of the operator is supplied with a separate 20 mA source of power with a recommended voltage of 24 VDC. The 20 mA power source should be connected through a transmitter unit to reduce crosstalk on the signal lines.
The VCP02.2DRN-003-SR-NN-PW is supplied with a built-in battery that powers a real-time clock and preserves data in the CMOS-RAM of the VCP 02 operator. The battery has a life span of 5 years under heavy operating conditions and is replaceable after a recommended four years of use as part of the regular maintenance work. Pre-assembled batteries are also available for the VCP 02 operator and are sold separately.
It is important to ensure that data and time in the CMOS-RAM of the VCP02.2DRN-003-SR-NN-PW are well preserved. The batteries of the terminal operator can be replaced under the recommended operating voltage. Battery replacement should follow these steps: Remove the threaded bolts of the interfaces. Remove the screws on the rear panel of the device and lift off the housing. Disconnect the connector from the battery and remove the dead battery. Plug-in the cable of the new battery. Place the rear panel back onto the device. Carefully tighten the screws of the rear panel and then the threaded bolts of the interfaces. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
