VAU01.1-1U-024-024-240-NN is an IP20 rated VAU series UPS from Bosch Rexroth. It is designed for industrial applications. The input voltage rating of the UPS is 24 Volts DC. The output voltage is 24 Volts DC. The maximum output current is 10 Amps. In case of power breakdown, the UPS provides the connected devices with power until a timer on the UPS expires. This timer can be set via a rotary switch on the front of the UPS. The timer can be set in one minute increments from 0 to 3 minutes. The UPS can provide the connected device with 24 Volts / 10 Amps for maximum three minutes. Communication between the UPS and connected device takes place via a serial interface. Components of the UPS include an enclosed metal housing, rechargeable battery, display and operating components on the front panel, and integrated burst/surge protection for the connected device. Width of the VAU01.1-1U-024-024-240-NN UPS is 123 millimeters, its height is 145 millimeters, and its depth is 128 millimeters. It is designed by Bosch for top hat rail mounting. Only top-hat rails made with TH35-7.5 or TH35-15 steel are permitted. Bosch recommends protecting the UPS from direct sunlight. Bosch also recommends minimum 50 millimeter clearance on the bottom side and 80 millimeters on the top side. All cables connecting to the UPS should be laid in loops. The cables should be provided with strain reliefs. The UPS should be kept at an appropriate distance from sources for electromagnetic interference. All terminals for the voltage connections, output voltage, the serial interface, and the display/operating components are arranged on the front panel. Only trained personnel should install and operate the UPS.
