Machine Operator's Panels are additional devices that are dedicatedly used with CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machines, enabling the operators to perform general machine operations such as moving axes manually in JOG mode, switching between operation modes, starting and stopping programs and adjusting the feed-rate with great ease. The Operator Panel is fabricated with a keypad, E-STOP button, Module with two override rotary switches, Module with two machine pushbuttons, hand-wheel and a Key-Switch.
The keypad is a combination of short-stroke keys that can be configured and labeled easily. The short-stroke keys are made with foil arranged in a matrix containing five columns and three rows. Each key is illuminated by a green point LED. The IndraControl VAM 40.2 control panel is provided with 16 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. The connectors of the inputs and outputs are located on the logic circuit board. Corresponding Green LEDs indicate the I/O states. The states of the inputs are reported to the master control via Profibus DP.
The product offers IP54 protection and is fully protected against dust, solid objects and splashing of water from any angle.
