TVM2.1-050-220/300 is a TVM series power supply module from Bosch. It is designed for industrial applications. The module accepts AC input and delivers DC output. A rectifier on the module performs AC to DC conversion. The input voltage rating is 220 Volts AC. The output voltage of the module is 300 Volts DC. Nominal output current of the power module is 50 Amps. The main power input is 3-phase at 50 to 60 Hertz line frequency. Bleeder resistors can be used to increase regenerated power. The maximum regenerated power is 14 kilowatts. The continuous bleeder power is 0.45 kilowatts. The peak bleeder power is 10 kilowatts. Maximum power loss of the TVM2.1-050-220/300 module at rated current is 130 Watts. The peak DC bus power is 60 kilowatts and the DC bus continuous power is 7.5 kilowatts. Bosch has designed TVM modules with an IP10 rated housing. These modules should be installed inside a cabinet. At least 80 millimeters of spacing are required on the top and bottom sides of the module for smooth airflow. Combustible materials, such as cables and wires, should be kept at least 40 millimeters from the side of the power module and 200 millimeters from the top of the unit. The ambient temperature required for rated output is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The site elevation required for rated output is 0 to 1000 meters. Output of the power module derates if either the temperature or altitude is outside these specified ranges. The derating factors multiply if the temperature and altitude exceed specified limits simultaneously. Humidity class of the power module is F and the insulation class is C. The temperature for storage and transport is -30 to 85 degrees Celsius.
