The TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/220/380 Bosch Rexroth power supply module is used to comply with the power demands of the manufacturer’s AC servo drives. The DC bus power requirements of these drives are met by this product. The dynamic braking action produced by the ready-state contact stops the drives from functioning when there is a problem or a failure. An auxiliary capacitance module can be connected to the DC bus of the device which prevents the activation of the bleeder resistor when there is a braking action on the drive. It must be made sure that this module is designed with the ability to support the rotational drive energy storage.
The power supply product has a nominal DC bus voltage rating of 300VDC. The inbuilt blower featured in this device ensures that the device is not overheated during operation. The unit has a three-phase input voltage with a 220VAC rating. The module depicts two terminals L+ and L- to support the DC bus connection for powering the drives. It is fitted with two-line input fuses that have a 6.3A current rating. The cumulative continuous mechanical output of the servo drives associated with the product should not exceed 4.1kW. The H3 and H4 LED displays help in rapid troubleshooting in the event of any fault.
The line input connection is protected using fuses or circuit breakers. There is no need to incorporate any semiconductor in the unit. It comes with a 50A type current rating. The wire ribbon cable used to transmit the signal voltage is connected through the X1 connector of the product. The module can be used to implement a modular design AC drive system when it is associated with an AC servomotor as well as an AC servo drive by the same manufacturer.
