The TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 is a new generation power supply module designed by Rexroth Indramat to improve the efficiency of industrial servo system by providing servo drives with the electrical energy they require for efficient operation. This power supply module can support the operation of devices with mechanical output as high as 4.1 kilowatts. The power supply module connects to the electrical mains through a three-phase electrical connector, the use of the three-phase electrical connector allows the supply module to receive a higher power density which is necessary for the module to carry out its operation effectively. The TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 power supply can be operated with additional modules such as the additional bleeder and the transformer, these two types of electrical connection optimizes the drive controller to meet the power requirement of a wider range of industrial applications
In the industrial servo system, the TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 power supply module can supply an input voltage of 230 to 400 volts at a frequency ranging from 50 to 60 hertz. Also, The power consumed by the module at maximum load is 550 volts per Ampere. The TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 power supply module operates with a typical current of about 50 Amperes, and a nominal bus voltage of 300 volts. The TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 contains an in-built air blower which helps to regulate the heat generated by the power supply module, it does this by blowing out hot air through the slits present in the modules housing unit.
The TVM 2.4-050-200/300-W1/220/380 meets the IP 10 protection category according to DIN 40 050 and the insulation class C according to DIN VDE 0110.
