The Rexroth Indramat TVM 2.1-050-W1/220/380V is a power supply module. It is installed in an Indramat AC drive system and can supply power to multiple drive modules installed in the system. Input rating of the power supply is three-phase 220 Volts AC. The operating voltage range is 198 to 253 Volts AC. The input line frequency range supported by the module is 50 to 60 Hertz. The output current rating is 50 Amps. The power supply also requires 380 Volts AC (single-phase) input for control electronics. Main function of the TVM 2.1-050-W1/220/380V is to rectify the three-phase input voltage and supply the DC voltage to the Indramat drives. The electronics of the drive modules are supplied with 15 / 24 Volts control voltages via the ribbon cable. The voltage on the DC bus of the supply is 300 Volts DC with ±15% tolerance.

When the TVM 2.1-050-W1/220/380V power supply module is being serviced, the input power should be disconnected and the DC bus should be completely discharged to minimize the risk of electric shock. The power supply module comes in an IP 10 rated housing which is designed for indoor use. The cabinet in which the Indramat AC drive system is installed should be dust proof and waterproof and should only be accessible to relevant personnel. The TVM 2.1-050-W1/220/380V comes with built-in blower for cooling. The optimal temperature range for power supply operation is from 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. Outside this range the supply output will derate i.e. will fall to values less than the rated output of 50 Amps. The maximum output derating of 20% is reached at 55 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
