Product Description

The Rexroth TVM 2.1-050-220 is a power supply module. Input rating of the module is 220 Volts AC (three-phase, 50 / 60 Hertz). The complete input operating range is from 198 to 253 Volts AC. The DC bus voltage is 300 Volts with 15% tolerance. Peak power rating for the DC bus is 60 kilowatts and the continuous power rating for the DC bus is 7.5 kilowatts. The continuous bleeder power is 0.45 kilowatts and the peak bleeder power rating is 10 kilowatts. Heat is generated by the bleeder on the TVM 2.1-050-220. In order to ensure that the ambient temperature remains within safe limits, the power supply can be ordered with a blower for forcing air over heated surfaces. The maximum power loss for the supply module – excluding bleeder losses – is 130 Watts.

The TVM 2.1-050-220 is designed to provide DC power for Indramat motors and control voltages for Indramat drives. The module can power up to 6 drives.  As long as environmental recommendations for ambient temperature and altitude are ensured, the current at the output of the supply module will be 50 Amps. However, if either the temperature or altitude exceeds the manufacturer recommendations then the output current value will decrease i.e. the output will derate. The permissible ambient temperature range for the TVM 2.1-050-220 is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The permissible maximum altitude without derating is 1000 meters. Enclosure of the TVM 2.1-050-220 has IP 10 protection rating. A reset button is provided on the front panel of the TVM 2.1-050-220. A diagnostic display is also provided on the front panel which aids during troubleshooting. All service and maintenance activities on the module should be carried out by trained personnel.
