TVD 1.3-08-03 is a Bosch TVD series power supply module. It converts AC input to DC output. A power rectifier converts the incoming AC to DC output. TVD modules supply regulated DC output to multiple drive units. The TVD unit be operated with three-phase power systems at 380 to 480 Volts AC without a transformer. Additional auxiliary units are available for suppressing reactions on the power system. The contactor for shutting down power to the drives is an integrated component of the module. In the event of fault conditions in the drive electronics, motors with permanent magnetic fields can be brought to a standstill by the dynamic brake. A maximum of ten drive modules can be supplied from one TVD module. DC bus voltage of the unit is 320 Volts.

The continuous DC bus power of the TVD 1.3-08-03 module is 7.5 kilowatts. The short term DC bus power for 3 seconds is 15 kilowatts. The DC bus peak power for 0.3 seconds is 22.5 kilowatts. Maximum regenerated energy of the unit is 30 kilowatt per second. The mechanical output for ON time greater than 10 seconds is 6 kilowatts. The mechanical short term output for 3 seconds is 12 kilowatts. The peak mechanical output for 0.3 seconds is 18 kilowatts. The permissible ambient temperature with rated data is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. With derated data, the maximum permissible temperature is 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch recommends maximum 1000 meters installation elevation. Protection category of the TVD module hosing is IP10. Therefor it must be installed inside a suitable cabinet. Only trained personnel with experience should operate and handle the power supply module.
