TVD 1.2-15-03 is a power supply module. It is part of Bosch Rexroth TVD product line. The module is used to supply DC power to multiple drive units. Its input voltage rating is 380 to 460 Volts AC. The module connects to three-phase AC power. The module can be connected directly to the AC mains. An integrated power protection circuit isolates the drive equipment from the AC power system. A soft-start circuit prevents high inrush current spikes. The benefit of this feature is that the line connection protection devices don?t need to be oversized. Circuit breakers or slow blow fuses can protect line connections. Therefore semiconductor circuit protection devices are not required. The DC bus voltage is 320 Volts. The DC bus voltage is regulated. Therefore variations in the line voltage have do not affect the drive dynamics.

For many situations, this feature enables higher drive speeds. The continuous mechanical power of the TVD 1.2-15-03 unit is 12 kilowatts. The DC bus continuous power is 15 kilowatts. The continuous regen power is 1 kilowatt. The TVD 1.2-15-03 comes in an IP10 rated housing. For optimal output, it requires 5 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. Height of the unit is 390 millimeters, its width is 150 millimeters, and its depth is 325 millimeters. The terminal block for line connection and DC bus choke connection is located at the front of the unit on the top. Connections for control signal inputs and status signals are located near the bottom at the front side. The power supply module also features diagnostics displays on the front panel. A reset switch is located on the front panel.
