Product Description
The TVD 1.2-15 connects to a delta system without isolation. Power connections connecting the power supply unit to an ungrounded three-phase line causes an overvoltage and worst scenario damage. The TDV is protected against overvoltage by using an isolated transformer or an overvoltage detector. The isolation transformer connects to the power supply via a PE rail. Using a circuit breaker or a semiconductor fuse to shield the power supply may affect its operations. When fuses are used, they should be from the GL category and do not exceed 35A. The TDV unit offers the lowest current loading without reactive current since it has a regulated consumption rate. The current regulator limits you from using the power supply unit in a switched-mode since it may cause perturbations in the power line. Interference in the power line system is reduced by operating the TDV module via auxiliary devices.
The power supply module from Bosch Rexroth is used at an ambient temperature of +5 to +45 degrees. The maximum permitted ambient temperature is +55 degrees Celsius. The TDV unit is installed at an elevation height of 1000meters above sea level. The power supply is easy to install since its components like the storage capacitor, DC bus smoothing choke, and the commutation choke are inbuilt.
The TVD 1.2-15 has a protection class of IP 10, as per DIN 40 050, designed for mounting into a closed cabinet. The power supply unit is protected against penetration by solid objects with a 50mm diameter. However, the TVD module has no protection against water or intentional penetration by hand. When installing the drive controllers, arrange them in an ascending manner. The spindle drive with the highest power rating is installed close to the power supply. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
