The TDM3.2-020-300-W0 servo drive module by Indramat is a robust and efficient drive solution for industrial automation systems. It is optimized for applications requiring precise motor control, reliable performance and energy efficiency.
The TDM series drive module operates under natural convection cooling and is designed for a maximum peak current of 20 A and a continuous current of 15 A. It is rated for a link circuit DC voltage of 300 V allowing for efficient energy use. The unit delivers a continuous power output of 6 kW with power losses of around 110 W. It is compact yet powerful and weighs 8 kg. The signal processing components draw a current of 400 mA on + 24 V load voltage, 120 mA on + 15 V and 50 mA on - 15 V. External consumption terminals at X43 offer capacities of 50 mA for + 24 V, and 15 mA each for both + 15 V and -15 V contributing to its versatility in power management. The module supports Indramat motor feedback cables up to 75 m in length providing flexibility in installation and setup.
This TDM3.2-020-300-W0 servo drive module operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from +5 degrees C to +45 degrees C with a maximum permissible temperature of 55 degrees C under reduced capacity. It is built to withstand storage temperatures between - 30 degrees C and + 85 degrees C and can be mounted at altitudes up to 1000m without performance degradation. It comes with an insulation category compliant with DIN VDE 0110 standards. The module is protected up to IP10 per DIN 40 050. The unit also includes a motor thermostat function that triggers at a critical temperature ensuring safe shutdown within one minute to protect both the drive and machinery.
