Product Description
The TDM 4.1-030-300-W1/S102 is a servo drive module with a custom designed and documented with a dedicated code number. The product is usually used as a speed drive in the control loop of a numerically controlled machine. It has a current rating of 30 A and a rated voltage of 300 V DC. This servo drive features high short-time accelerations and torque-controlled drive functions for master/slave motor configurations. The three-phase servo drive system is made of the mains output components, the servo drive module, the motor cable, and the MAC servo motor.
The servo drive module also features drift compensation which allows it to operate with an extremely low temperature drift. Zero drift can be fixed using the ZERO ADJ potentiometer on the main control panel. The TDM 4.1-030-300-W1/S102 can function without any restrictions as long as the servo drive module is operated within +5 - +45-degree Celsius ambient temperature of the control cabinet. The servo drive module has a maximum installation height of 1000 meters above sea level. Installation height greater than 1000 meters above sea level would mean lower current and torque output for the motors being controlled by the servo drive module.
The TDM 4.1-030-300-W1/S102 can be operated as a drive torque-controller within a tandem drive setup. Operation of the motor on this setup would require mechanical attachments between the master and slave drives to prevent the slave drive from accelerating. Cooling is provided by a 220 V AC fans that is built-in to the chassis of the servo drive module. Tools such as multimeters for DC and alternating voltages and a set-point encoder with battery are needed during the commissioning stages of the product. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
