Product Description
TDM 4.1-030-300-W1 is a servo drive module for MAC 21, MAC 25, and MAC 41 motors and used for high-accuracy applications in NC machines for wood works, automation systems, and production machines in automotive plants. The product has a current rating of 30 A and a DC link circuit voltage of 300 V. The product generates a 3-phase system that is managed depending on the amplitude, frequency, and phase. Torque is determined by the current amplitude of the product’s system in the stator of the servo motor. Frequency of the 3-phase system sets the speed of the servo motor depending on the signals of the rotor position encoder.
The output of the NC can be smoothened using a differential input E1 – E2 in an event that staircase function becomes disturbed. Reduced response of the position control is expected when excessive smoothing is applied. The TDM 4.1-030-300-W1 can also be used as a torque-controlled drive. On a tandem drive setup, the controller of the master drive would set the speed of the slave drive. Master and slave drives should be mechanically attached to one another to avoid the slave drive from accelerating without any load torque.
Cooling is supplied via forced convection using the built-in fans of the product. Programming module is provided along with the product to match the servo drive module to the motor type. The TDM 4.1-030-300-W1 can be serviced without any optimizations and adjustments. During servicing, the product can be quickly replaced by any staff without the need for special training since the servo drive module has a drift compensation and no matching and adjustments are required. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
