Product Description
Bosch Indramat TDM servo drive modules have a rugged design allowing them to operate in relatively harsh industrial environments without compromising their performance and or reliability. TDM drive modules belong to the Indramat ANAX series. This family of drives houses legacy drives. As such, if faulty, this drives can only be repaired instead of replacing or exchanging. Indramat drive modules in this series were factory-tuned providing a perfectly tuned controller to the end user. TDM servo drive modules employ either forced ventilation cooling or natural convection cooling. Note that forced ventilation cooling is available on TDM drive modules with a high rated current to enable them effectively dissipate excess heat to prevent overheating.
The TDM 3.2-20-300-W0 is a TDM drive module manufactured by Indramat. The module employs the natural convection cooling method. With the module designed to be operated inside a control cabinet, the natural convection cooling method requires the cabinet to adequately be ventilated to enable free flow of cool air inside the cabinet. The TDM 3.2-20-300-W0 has a continuous current rating of 15 Amperes, a peak current rating of 20 Amperes, and a power loss of 110 kilowatts. The controller is a crucial part on a servo drive system that consists of the module, motor cable, and a servo motor.
The Bosch Indramat TDM 3.2-20-300-W0 was designed to control standard MAC servo motors in the MAC 63 to MAC 112B series. Note that Indramat MAC servo motors are designed to be interfaced with high-performance industrial servo applications. To help the controller effectively maintain an operating temperature of between 5 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius, no heating-producing device or parts should be mounted directly underneath the controller. The TDM 3.2-20-300-W0 belongs to the Indramat TDM3 subseries.
