Product Description
The ease of controlling Indramat MAC servo motors was first introduced into the factory floor with entry of Indramat TDM legacy servo drive modules. With Indramat MAC motors being designed to be used with high-accuracy servo applications used in the wood working, automation systems, NC machine tools, among others, TDM servo drive modules were factory-tuned to provide a perfectly tuned system increasing reliability and performance. TDM drive modules belong to the Indramat ANAX series of drives. Indramat TDM drive modules range from the most common (TDM 1.2 and TDM 1.4) to the rarest (1.3 and 3.3) that can only be repaired instead of replacing or exchanging them.
The Bosch Indramat TDM 3.2-020-300-W0 is a servo drive module in the TDM3 subseries. The module is built around ruggedness according to military specifications. TDM drives’ ruggedness enable them to operate for more than 30 years before requiring to be serviced. Being a legacy drive, the TDM 3.2-020-300-W0 can only be repaired when faulty because Indramat no longer manufactures new TDM servo drives. The drive module has a link circuit voltage rating of 300 Volts DC and a current rating of 20 Amperes. For optimal operation of the drive it should be mounted and operated in an environment with an ambient temperature of between 5.0 degrees Celsius and 45.0 degrees Celsius.
The Indramat TDM 3.2-020-300-W0 is cooled through natural convention. With the servo drive module being designed to be operated inside a control cabinet, the cabinet should be well ventilated to help in regulating the temperature inside the cabinet. Note that drives in the ANAX series were designed to provide motion control in assembly lines, printing presses, packaging machines, and machine presses. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
