Product Description
Bosch Indramat servo drive modules in the TDM series have made industrial motor control easier than ever. To improve troubleshooting and monitoring, these drive modules have light-emitting diodes on the front panel to indicate conditions such as working, malfunction, disconnected, powered on, overheating, current within acceptable limits, among other conditions. Indramat TDM series of drive modules were specially designed for use with low and medium power ranges with the main focus being introducing versatility into the industrial floor. To enhance safety on the industrial floor, TDM servo drive modules use the starting lockout functionality that enables the motor of each axis to be easily powered down using a simple switch.
The TDM 2.1-30-300-W0 is a servo drive module designed and manufactured by Indramat. It belongs to the Indramat TDM 2 subseries in the wider TDM series. Drive modules in this series were designed to be mounted in a control cabinet to limit unintended interaction with personnel. To get the best out of the TDM 2.1-30-300-W0, the temperature inside the control cabinet should exceed the external temperature by 2 degrees Celsius to discourage the formation of dew on the module. Note that the rated non-condensing humidity rated for the Indramat servo drive module drops with an increase in surrounding temperature.
Apart from ambient temperature and relative humidity, the TDM 2.1-30-300-W0 reaches optimal performance when operated in an environment without suspended substances in the air and when not exposed to excessive shocks and or vibrations. The TDM 2.1-30-300-W0 has a rated current of 30 Amperes and a link circuit voltage rating of 300 Volts DC. The drive module is cooled by means of natural convection. This drive is a legacy module and it has to be repaired because no new units are available.
