Product Description
Rexroth drives are designed to trim waste and increase productivity. Their line of products includes hydraulic components, electric drives and controls, assembly systems, linear motions, servo drive modules and pneumatic pumps. The TDM series of servo drive modules is known globally for its performance, competitiveness, and durability.
The TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 belongs to the 1st series of TDM servo drive modules and is the second model in the series. It has a current rating of 50 A with a link circuit rated voltage of 300 V (DC). Due to its high-performance capabilities, the TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 tends to heat up. To avoid excessive heat built up, the module is cooled through a built-in fan. The rated connection voltage for the built-in fan is AC 220 V, 50-60 Hz. The TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 is known to have significant savings in terms of cost and space. A single power unit can feed the drive axes of several working areas. In several applications, three-phase motor connectors with one or two axes can be integrated into the motor supply lines. The motors of the TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 no longer brake uncontrolled in the event of a power failure and instead a mechanical locking mechanism is dropped.
The TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 has a built-in diagnostics panel and status LEDs to display any fault with the unit. For safe operations, any faulty connections should be avoided, and all pre-operation tests must be carried out. The TDM 1.2-50-300-W1-220 should not be exposed to humidity as dew may adversely affect the electrical components. Internal temperature should be maintained to at least 2 degrees more than the outside temperature to avoid dew formation.
