The TDA1.3-100-3-A0I is a top class main spindle drive system manufactured for accurate position and speed control of the main spindle. This device has been designed for speed and position control in the famous asynchronous and frameless motors produced at Rexroth. The power output of these motors lies in the range of 3 kW to 10 kW. Besides maintain a constant torque over a broad range of speed, this model has a highly stiff motion control response. Because of this characteristic, this model is considered ideal for position control in numerically controlled CNC machine tools. An internal position control circuit has also been built into this device which significantly improves the digital position control capabilities. Because of a high resolution (1/4000 000 of a revolution), this device is a very effective platform for automatic spindle positioning.

The TDA1.3-100-3-A0I enables the motor’s main spindle to work as a spindle axis. With such a high resolution, the motor can be used to detect and monitor the rotor’s position with sizeable accuracy. The rotor position can be monitored and readjusted even at very low speeds. This device has a parameter based operation. The main motor and spindle motor are matched with each other using parameters. The important drive parameters are stored in the device’s programming module at the time of commissioning the device. A variety of speed command interfaces can be used with this device. Analog speed command, digital speed command, and sercos interface can also be integrated with this platform. This product can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
