The TDA 1.1-050-3-LP0 main spindle drive is manufactured by Rexroth Indramt. This spindle drive is designed to offer intelligent digital control to main spindle motors, specifically the INDRAMAT asynchronous spindle motor and the 2AD frameless main spindle motor. The TDA 1.1-050-3-LP0 drive controller is particularly efficient in industrial applications with high power requirements as it can stimulate industrial motor to generate up to 10 kilowatts of power while drawing only a little power from the power supply module. The main spindle controller is manufactured with a modular design. It contains three major types of electrical connections: the power connection, the motor and NC connections, and the other electrical connections specific to the spindle controller.
The TDA 1.1-050-3-LP0 main spindle controller has very high-performance data; under the right conditions, it can operate at a top level for a long period without requiring any maintenance operation. The motor has a weight of about 10.5 kilograms and a length of about 360 millimeters; thus, for efficient installation, a mounting panel with a minimum thickness of 3millimeters for steel materials and 6 Millimeters for aluminum materials should be used. The motor is designed to operate with a rated current of 50 Amperes and a continuous current of 35 Amperes.
The TDA 1.1-050-3-LP0 main spindle controller operates with a link rated voltage of 300Volts. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at which the spindle controller should be operated for optimum results is +55degree Celsius. Also, a maximum elevation level of 1000 meters should not be exceeded during installation operation. The TDA 1.1-050-3-LP0 main spindle controller communicates with the spindle motor in real-time through the SERCOS interface communication module.
