The TBM 1.1-20-W1 bleeder module comes with a 2 series code. The module works with the manufacturer’s TVR series of power supplies. It is integrated with a chopper as well as a resistor. The product encompasses a rugged design coupled with high performance. The unit can be deployed in multiple industries for various applications. The device comes fitted with an inbuilt blower that has a 115VAC voltage rating. The inverter of a motor gets set to the regenerative mode as a result of the motor’s braking action. As a result, the bus voltage starts increasing and reaches the threshold value. When this happens, the chopper starts bleeding the extra energy through the bleeder resistor.
The bleeder module should be checked for compatibility with the device that it is connected to. The bleeder resistor must be mounted in close proximity to the capacitors as much as possible.
