The SOT02-E2A-AS is an operator control device used for the DLC. The remote mounted, station operator terminal comes with more features than the DLC’s own control panel. Having a viewing area of 4-7/8" by 2-3/4", the device can display much more information. The screen features a 16 line display with each line supporting 40 characters. The SOT can display soft faults, hard faults, and system messages. It also reports minor errors and increases user awareness significantly. If an indication can result in damaging equipment or harming the personnel, it is immediately reported by the SOT panel. Other indications that can inhibit normal operation are also reported by the SOT. These messages include a DLC system error, Serial Com Port disconnection, Feed Angle Loss, Invalid Mode Selection, etc.

The SOT02-E2A-AS also displays other system messages and informs the users about the current DLC status. The device reports No cycle start, Cycle delay, Feed Forward, Stop Active, etc. This model has been equipped with click contact keys that allow users to enter and edit data in the DLC. For DLC-R type applications, the SOT can be programmed to display additional screens. Further customization is possible with the ScreenManager^TM software. The system features a non-glare display that is illuminated by a cold cathode fluorescent lamp. The backlighting enables a black and white contrast that can be adjusted by the users. The device can be used with the RS485 serial interface and can be mounted up to 1000 meters away from the DLC.  This product can be purchased from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
