When DLC-R type applications are required, the firmware displays appropriate screens. This firmware can be used flexibly and can be programmed for displaying additional customized screens. Indramat’s Screen Manager software is used for programming the firmware. The Screen Manager can be used through a DOS-based computer. When the firmware is programmed using the Screen Manager, specific information and prompt lines can be displayed on the SOT display. Once the information is downloaded to the FWA-SOT02-003-15VRS-NN, operators can add data in response to the prompts.
