Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures top-quality automation products that are cost-efficient and reliable. The company's inverter modules enable complete control over industrial servo motors.
The SM 25/50-TC1 is an inverter system produced by the company. It belongs to the SM..-T range and is used to optimize the performance of industrial servo motors. The SM 25/50-TC1 has been equipped with power semiconductors that enable adequate torque generation at all speeds by producing the required voltage and current signals. The system comes with a brushless tacho and a rotor position recognition feature that allow the regulation of a motor’s speed and torque. The system has a rated DC link voltage of 460 Volts and a maximum DC link voltage of 700 Volts. It operates on a 25 A rated current while its peak current is 50 A. The device operates on a 24 W power supply and has a maximum power loss of 200 W.
The SM 25/50-TC1 comes with a highly equipped diagnostic module. The inverter is able to detect and report multiple system faults during the motor’s operation. A fault signal is generated when the power unit’s heat sink exceeds a set temperature value. The inverter can also detect excess motor winding temperature and generates a fault signal when the winding temperature exceeds 140 ᵒC. The SM 25/50-TC1 is also capable of automatic current regulation in the motor windings. By controlling the amount of current, the inverter causes instant torque generation required to adjust the rotor’s position. The inverter system should be used in temperature ranges between 0 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC. The recommended installation height of the device is within a 1000 m above sea level. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
