Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s motion control systems are widely used in modern industries. The company produces highly functional inverter systems that are used to control servo motors.
The SM 25/50-TC is an inverter system designed by the company. The inverter system optimizes the performance of the industrial servo motors produced at Bosch Rexroth. The device is equipped with a brushless tacho and a rotor position detector. These systems enable the SM 25/50-TC to control the position and speed of servo motors. The system comes with power semiconductors that enable the inverter to generate current and torque in such a way that the required torque can be generated at all speeds. The device has a 50 A peak current and a 25 A rated current. The device comes with a forced ventilation cooling mechanism that comes with a 24 DC axial blower. The device has an inbuilt current regulation function that allows rotor position adjustment. The rotor can be adjusted because the current in motor windings can be continuously adjusted.
The SM 25/50-TC can automatically monitor overvoltage and under-voltage faults. When a fault occurs, the internal enable signal is automatically disconnected. The users can reset fault signals with the help of an inbuilt diagnostics module. The inverter protects the motor against excess winding temperature. A fault signal is produced if the motor winding temperature rises above 140 ᵒC. Users are also intimated if the heat sink temperature rises above a specific value. The SM 25/50-TC also generates an automatic fault signal if the motor connection is short-circuited. Similarly, any fault is the tacho line is also detected by the device and a fault signal is produced. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
