Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has dominated the motion control market with its novel and innovative technologies. The company’s professionals have years of experience at their disposal that allows them to understand and respond to the emerging industrial demands.
The SM 10/20-TC1 is an AC inverter system produced by the company. The inverter system produces appropriate semiconductor currents and voltages to control the motor's speed and torque. Furthermore, the system provides the desired torque at any given speed. The AC inverter can be operated within a 1000 m elevation range. The system operates on a three-phase power supply (380 V...415 V). The device has a maximum power loss of 90 W and requires a 20 W power supply for operation. The ideal operating range for the system is between 0 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC. The SM 10/20-TC1 has a modular structure and more modules can be added to the basic configuration. For efficient heat dissipation, the system comes with an axial blower. The axial blower utilizes forced convection to remove excess heat from the system.
The SM 10/20-TC1 can be extended with an additional diagnostics module that features PSU fault, module fault, commutation fault, speed monitoring, and excess temperature fault LEDs. At 45 ᵒC, the system’s peak current is 2 A and the rated current is 40 A. The inverter can be stored in a -25 ᵒC to 70 ᵒC temperature range. As a protective measure, the maximum current supplied to the motor is automatically reduced by 50% if the motor receives the maximum current for 2 seconds without moving. A tacho fault signal is also generated automatically if the tacho line is short-circuited. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
