Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is considered a leader in the field of motion control. The company has increased its global outreach with the help of partnerships/subsidiaries and supplies equipment to industries around the world.
The SM 10/20-TA inverter system produced by the company is used to control the speed and torque of servo motors. The system has a modular construction and the basic configuration consists of a power supply module and a servo module. The power supply module supplies a 380 V...415 V three-phase supply to the inverter. The AC inverter can supply the desired torque at any given speed. This is achieved by generating appropriate semiconductor voltages and currents. The SM 10/20-TA’s rated current is 10 A at a 45 ᵒC temperature. At the same temperature, the peak current is 20 A. The system requires a 20 W power supply for operation and its maximum power loss is 90 W. The inverter can be stored in a -25 ᵒC to 70 ᵒC temperature range while the ideal temperature range for its operation is 0 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC. This model comes with an axial blower. Cooling is achieved through forced ventilation caused by the blower.
The SM 10/20-TA can operate within a 1000 m elevation range. A separate diagnostics module can be used with the system. The module’s various diagnostic LEDs include the module fault, commutation fault, and tacho fault LEDs. Furthermore, LEDs are also provided for monitoring excess motor temperature and excess heat sink temperature. The system produces a fault signal if the load circuit is short-circuited. A fault signal is also produced if the motor is blocked or the winding temperature rises above safe values. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
