The SM 10/18-GTC is an AC inverter that operates on a three-phase power supply. The system operates on a 380 V..415 V supply voltage and requires 20 W power. The system uses a DC link voltage that lies between 460 V to 700 V. At 45 ᵒC, the inverter’s peak current is 18 A while the rated current stands at 10 A. The system can be operated at any elevation that below 1000 m above sea level. The inverter has a strong build quality that allows it to sustain adverse environmental conditions. This model can be operated between 0 ᵒC to 50 ᵒC and the ideal temperature conditions for its storage lie between -25 ᵒC to 70 ᵒC. Any desired torque can be provided to the motor at any given speed. This is done through power semiconductor signals that are generated by the inverter.
The SM 10/18-GTC comes with the rotor position recognition feature and also protects the motor from blocking or jamming by regulating the current supply to the motor. If the motor remains static after two seconds of receiving the maximum current, the current supply is automatically reduced to the motor by 50%. The inverter comes with a separate diagnostic module that can be retrofitted with the system. The module contains diagnostic capabilities and can display various fault and warning indications through separate LEDs. These include motor fault LED, excess temperature LED, PSU fault LED, and tacho fault LED. This product is available from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
