Product Description
The SF-L1.0016.060-04.050 product is designed with cutting-edge standards needed to update popular applications such as textile machines, food and paper processing machines, packaging machines, and robots. The SF servo motor is available in a variety of features with a common mechanical construction.
As alternatives for using this device, the motor includes a SERCOS interface, analog interface, and motion control. The servo motor produces high-resolution operation by using an integrated encoder (single-turn absolute value) and a sinusoidal e.m.f. To hold the feed axis in a standstill position, this motor is equipped with a holding brake which is active when the system is de-energized. These brakes are designed to provide a fail-safe principle to increase the operational reliability of SF servo motors. The motor should be used in conjunction with the Servodyn-D inverter series. This permanently excited motor is optimized for operation with a D.C. link voltage of 670 V. The power supply should be tested for stability.
The model SF-L1.0016.060-04.050 is engineered to meet the requirements of the IP67 degree of protection (except the output side). The motor is continuously cooled by the process of natural convection. If installed in a confined space, the motor should be subjected to forced convection by means of a blower or fan unit. The installation pockets are available over the entire length of the motors to provide hassle-free mounting at the desired location. This model (SF-L1.0016.060-04.050) has an output shaft with a keyway and a feather key. It comes without the mating connector which needs to be ordered separately from Wake Industrial.
