Product Description

The SF-B5.0460.020-14.000 is a SF series AC servo brushless motor, a product from the Bosch Rexroth. As per the instruction manual provided by its manufacturer, this motor gives its peak performance when operated at the surrounding environment's temperature of 0 – 40 degrees centigrade. If somehow its temperature exceeds the 40 degrees centigrade limit, then its performance begins to decline at the rate of 1000 m m.s.I. so it is always recommended to operate it between the said limit. The motor is built in such a way that it follows an international protection standard of DIN 40050/40053 EN 60 445 and gives an IP rating of 65 with its mating connector. This protection is only valid if it has no flange on its output side.

The motor's body is constructed by following an international standard of DIN IEC 34-7 and its built type is IM B5. It has the flexibility to be used as IM V1 and also as IM V3, providing a great range of construction. If the type of IM V3 is used then its flange is pointing upward. In this case, it is not admissible for the liquid to remain at the end of the flange shield.

On the other hand, if the built type of IM V1 is used then in that case its flange is pointing downward. For this, it is admissible for the oil-sealed flange on the output side of the motor only if it is for the lubrication. The flow of the heat at the tight point is made by means of a proper oil level indicator or by the spray oil lubrication. The flange of the motor is made in accordance with the IEC 72-2 / DIN 42 948 standard.
