Product Description

SF-B4.0125.060-10.050 is an SF-series servo motor designed and developed by Bosch.  This particular motor is the basic version when it comes to the options that it offers. It has a smooth shaft without a mating connector. The motor is a permanently excited motor that comes with electronic commutation for improved performance. The SF-B4.0125.060-10.050 works with a sinusoidal emf and has an STG or single-turn absolute value encoder system with an option for choosing the MTG or multi-turn absolute value encoder system. The motor has a superior compact design and runs at a DC link voltage of 670V.

The motor works well in relatively poor environmental conditions. It does not require a blower to cool itself off; it uses natural radiation or convection to release excess heat during operation. It also comes fitted with thermistors in the motor windings to evaluate the motor’s temperature during operation and protect it from overheating. The insulation class for the motor is denoted ‘F’ in accordance with VDE 0530, and the shock resistance for the motor is 6 g IAW DIN IEC 68-2-27. The noise of the motor tops 58 decibels if a person stands at a distance of 1 meter from the motor.

The torque constant for the motor is measured as 0.71 Nm/A, while the locked rotor torque for the motor was measured to be 12 Nm.
