The SF-B4.0091.060-10.050 is a motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, and belongs to the SF series of AC servo motors. This motor comes with a built-in encoder. By default, this encoder is a single-turn (STG) absolute value encoder but there is also an available option for a muti-turn (MTG) type encoder. This motor's part number indicates that there is a holding brake installed in it, which can be used to stop its motion. According to its manufacturer, this brake can hold a torque of 18 Nm up to the surrounding temperature of 120 degrees centigrade. This brake works perfectly when a rated DC voltage of 24 volts is applied across its terminals. At this supply voltage, the brake consumes a current of 0.7 amperes.
