Product Description

Bosch is a known for manufacturing high end reliable servo motors. The SF & SR lineup continues this legacy of the company, featuring brushless servomotors well suited for industrial as well as home applications. They feature a compact design making them suited for various working environments. The SF-A5.0250.030-04.050 works on permanent magnet technology with electronic commutation, working with the advanced Servo Dyn-D inverter system.

Cooling is achieved through natural convection, with an option for forced-air cooling. Some non-standard accessories are also included in this model. The motor is protected by an IP 67 rating for protection against fluids & the frame of the motor is constructed using an anti-corrosive grade of aluminum. It is manufactured as per IM B5 construction type. It is advised to use the motor with a DC link voltage of 670 volts. The rated speed is clocked in at 2000 min-1. The torque produced by this model is 23 Nm & locked rotor current of 10 A. The torque constant is 2.3 Nm/A. the maximum axial load it can bear is 154 N. This model comes can be optionally equipped with a holding brake for fixing the feed axis on standstill or when the system is de-energized. The separation time of holding brake is 97 Ms & the mechanical delay of holding brake is 20 Ms

These motors have been rated to be used in an ambient temperature of 0-45 degree Celsius & 1000 meters above sea level. The SF series features a single-turn absolute value encoder system (STG) for precise speed and position control, with an optional multi-turn absolute value encoder system (MTG) with its precision rating at above said conditions comes out at SF: +/- 20 angular seconds/8 million incr./rev, ensuring accurate performance.
